Demands you put leaf on white paper...any white showing around the edges fails the id.....then you will never get the server to pass poll contact. Wish it worked.

Love this app, very easy to use. Can we get a favorites section soon? Like our own folder option to store favorites in? :)

I tried over 50 times to upload a picture of a leaf with no success. It was a clear picture with a white background, but I continued to get the processing error. Useless app, unfortunately.

It doesnt work. I took a picture of the leaf and tried to upload it, but nothing happens. Tried to contact developer, but there was no contact info available. Removed app from my phone.

This is such a promising app. I used it for two leaves using the Snap It feature. It worked fine, but every other image I tried to identify keeps getting a "Recognition Error" (failed to poll server). The image is clear and on a white background, as directed. Hope they can fix this.

Works great, almost every time the species is in top of the chooses, quick and easy. Cant asked much more from recognition software on a free app! Its worth every bit of the 10 seconds it takes to both download and learn how to use it.

I hope that someone with the resources and the love for trees soon builds an app that really works. This app is provincial too: its not aware that Europe exists, my current location. Upload times a joke. Ill just delete and dump.

I love this app. Works fairly well, great information and fun memories games to really lock in the plants. 2 suggestions: if a plant isnt available, it should default to a web browser to look it up or you should be able to name it temporarily yourself. I dont like "untitled" plants sitting in my collection. Second, in the information part of the plant, there should be a section on whether its edible. I think that would be extremely beneficial in emergency situations. Perhaps you have the app or you remember playing one of the games and that information could be a life saver! Thanks and keep up the great work :)

Great concept unfortunately it didnt work on my iPhone 6. Errors uploading over wifi and data plan.

For the Dev Team…. Indeed, use the users of this app to fine tune and identify more plants that are then uploaded to expand and refine the database! For the Haters, just give it time to get the bugs out and expand their database!

The app has a very limited number of species. There is also one important thing: the lead recognition doesnt work. At all.

I held up a white piece of paper, it was nicely lit, and the leaf was clear as could be- and it said my background wasnt white. Over it.

Great app-- simply as a reference tool for iding trees flowers, fruit and leaves. Thank you for making this, keep up the good work! (Would love to see a wider image of each tree included on its respective page.)

I tried multiple different leaves from around the yard. 0% accuracy. Zero. Not only did it never get the species correct.. it gives you a list of possible matches.. but not once was the correct species in the list of ten or so additional suggestions. Good luck identifying anything. Aaaaand delete.

I love how easy it is to use--fortunately I live in the northeast so most of the trees Im curious about are in there--its a growing app, so soon trees from all over will be included!

I live in Florida and half or more of the leaves I snap are not recognized. Seems to be heavily oriented to more northern trees at best. Wish it had a better database because t certainly seems to work on some trees. But far too many it simply puts up 25 trees that simply are what I know it is. With a stronger database this would be a four star app easily.

Followed the instructions and snapped/uploaded images of leafs which returned very inaccurate results. Other plant ID apps performed much better with the same images.

Should have read the description, app is useless in identifying trees Im unfamiliar with here in S. FL.

Forget about it, not recognizing even a house plant!
